Apostle Yoshua N.MASASU & Senior Pastor Lydia UMULISA MASASU

Apostle & Senior Pastor

Apostle Yoshua NDAGIJIMANA MASASU
Apostle Yoshua Ndagijimana Masasu, the founder and overseer of Evangelical Restoration Church, President and Chancellor of Bible Communication Center, author of Amazon’s Best Seller, “Delivered from All my Fears”, Apostle Masasu is a man who has dedicated his whole life to please Jesus at any cost. This passion began when he gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1983 and began the journey of serving him wholeheartedly.

The Journey began when he founded “Jerusalem Ministry” in DRCongo, that aimed to help his fellow Rwandan refugees to regain hope in that foreign land.

In 1994, he was called by God to move to Rwanda and there he founded Evangelical Restoration Church. With the vision of a Church family where those who were nearly lifeless due to the horrors of the genocide against the Tutsi, would be restored into life givers. Today, Evangelical Restoration Church has over 80 parishes in Rwanda and 10+ in other African Countries.

He is also the founder of the Bible Communication Centre (BCC), an international organisation that focuses on preparing an army of consecrated Disciples, from different places and backgrounds for the purpose of making Jesus Christ the Lord of this generation.
BCC operates in all 5 continents with more than 5000 members from various churches. Within the BCC program, He has written 7 manuals that are used for discipleship training.

Apostle Yoshua holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and telecommunication Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Library Science.
He has an honorary doctorate degree in divinity from Logos University, Florida in 2015, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Theology: Christian Ethics and Leadership at the Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Sciences, Rwanda.

Apostle Yoshua is happily married to his beautiful wife and partner in ministry, Pastor Lydia Umulisa Masasu, and together they have five children: Deborah, Joshua, Caleb, Esther and Yedidia.

PASTOR LYDIA UMULISA MASASU
lydia Umulisa Masasu, the senior pastor of Evangelical Restoration headquarter Church Masoro Parish.

Lydia’s calling began the moment she started longing for more than what Catholicism was offering her.
In 1982 she accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and renewed her covenant with Jesus in 1987 with the decision to pay whatever cost of not returning to her old self but to follow Jesus.

During her walk with Jesus, she met Apostle Yoshua Ndagijimana Masasu and got married in 1989. Alongside her husband, they ministered to Rwandan refugees in Congo and named it “Jerusalem Ministry”.

In the wake of the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi, Apostle Masasu preceded PS. Lydia in Rwanda on a mission to establish a church family where everyone would find parents, brothers, sisters and children. Lydia’s ministry in Rwanda began when she joined her husband alongside their two children at the time to carry on the vision of the Apostle.

During her journey to her calling, she was involved in various roles in the church including intercession, worship team and the women ministry. However, the pastoral calling got louder when God specifically told the Apostle that she was supposed to be ordained and serve him as a Pastor. In 2010, lydia Masasu was ordained as pastor. Today, she is the senior pastor of ERC Masoro Parish that has about 4,000+ members. She is also the vice chancellor and vice president of the Bible Communication Center, an international organization that aims to prepare an army of consecrated Disciples, from different places and backgrounds to make Jesus Christ Lord of this generation
